Cheryl and Sean’s wedding in Finnstown Castle Hotel back in July was a real pleasure to photograph. It took place in the middle of the heatwave and everything just seemed to flow perfectly, all day long. From the moment I met Cheryl and then Sean, I could tell they were laidback characters who were determined to just make the most of every hour that lay ahead and throw a great party for everyone closest to them. I love it when a plan comes together.
As the day wore on I almost felt like a guest with a camera at this one to be honest, just wandering wherever my craic-detector led me. And these guests knew how to let their hair down which made it hard for me to leave that dancefloor. This night needed documenting.
Here are a few kind words from a review Cheryl gave me -
We chose our photographer because... “Stephen is fairly new to weddings but when I looked at his portfolio I really loved his style. We really wanted a casual laid back photographer to capture us and our guests more naturally while still doing the obligatory wedding group shots. He understood this perfectly, and now, looking at our photos we absolutely love that we and our guests are relaxed, chatting, smiling and laughing in most of the pictures. He is a father himself, so was absolutely brilliant with our son Finn and caught beautiful shots of him during the day. He went above and beyond what was expected of him and stayed until late into the night so we have fantastic guest dancing shots.”
Thanks for having me C & S, and all the best for the future.
